Time for China, S’pore etc to buy more US debt so that the Americans can use the money to buy gds from us. Gds that are designed by US cos who reap the rewards, like Apple. The manufacturers get “peanuts”.
Moral of story — buy US companies. Like Apple, Macdonalds, Coca Cola, Pepsico, Johnson & Johnson, Proctor & Gamble, Exxon Mobil, Altria (Malboro man) etc etc. Many of these US companies are now earning majority of their revenue from outside the US anyway. Revenue share from emerging markets are rising for these global companies.
