“Pull the other leg Heng, it’s got bells on it”

I couldn’t stop laughing:

Singapore must address widening inequality, a growing intergenerational divide and deepening political polarisation so its people can weather global challenges together, said Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat on Friday (Sep 20).

These are issues which societies around the world face, and even though Singapore has “so far been spared the full force of these challenges”, the country is not immune to them, Mr Heng warned.

I hope the SDP (I’m sure they will, because Dr Paul is a really smart boy from RI, unlike that Mad Dog from ACS) will come up with a riposte along the following lines:

The PAP has been in power since 1957. And have always stressed that they, especially the ministers, are long term planners, who deserve their billions millions.

So we should have avoided growing intergenerational divide and deepening political polarisation that wannabe PM Heng is talking about. The long term planning of the millionaire ministers under the divine tutelage of one Harry Lee  should have seen to that since S’poreans have given the PAP the Mandate of Heaven since 1957.

Long-term planning? What long-term planning?

Competency? What competency?

The Truth from someone who sadly and misguidedly calls our Supreme Beloved Leader, Mad Dog Chee:

Economic restructuring: This time, it’s really different

Missed smartphone boom, planners thinking about 2025

Is PAP in “decline and disintegration”?
