Thoughts of a Cynical Investor 
LOL, this latest is just the tip of a long litany of shareholder-unfriendly actions by the cheenas since late 2020. Hence my recent pondering about the 25% cheena weightage that I’ve been maintaining for the past 5 years.
I’ve been paring my cheena positions over the past couple of months. Will still keep about 10-15% of my portfolio in cheena stocks, with greater focus on mid-caps & domestic-consumption oriented.
I mean, cheena companies & their mgmt are already quite suspect. Now with the govt in as well, it makes a lot of their stuff “un-investible”.
And it’ll weigh on STI too. Too bad for those stuck locally.
