Good news for the PAP

Young S’poreans are optimistic about their future prospects.

Interesting table. Compared to young people in other developed countries, younger S’poreans are pretty optimistic about their future.

What this means is that young S’poreams unlike their counterparts in the the West believe that the governing party can deliver the good life.

  1. the results of this survey are very different from the numerous surveys done by blackbox research pte ltd over the years … but then the owner of blackbox research pte ltd and all its employees are “ft”/pr (men & women).

  2. Ipsos, the source of the survey above, frequently uses Blackbox to execute their surveys in S’pore.

    But whatever…

Like I said for many many years …. PAPies’ change of HDB & immigration policies after 2011 has overwhelmingly benefitted the millennials here —> relatively cheaper flats & higher salaries.

Cost of living for most millennials has gone down, while quality of living has gone up.

Remember that the 2 biggest living demographic groups are the boomers & millennials.

Boomers are dying off & becoming irrelevant. So the focus will be on the millennials & to a lesser extent the Gen Z (which is also a smaller group like Gen X).

This goes not just for politics & direction of the country, but also for investing (locally & globally) as well.
