“Your client may have won in a court of law, but … he has lost decisively in the court of public opinion.”

In Uncategorized on 18/05/2021 at 5:45 am

This writer has a low opinion of Lim Tean

Look at Lim Tean’s record. Still no jobs rally after collecting money in 2017 for rally, and no picture, no sound after collecting money to sue CPF yrs ago: Finally Lim Tean called to account on a “broken promise”. To be fair, he did deliver on defamation video two years late. But it was BS.

Can he be trusted to do anything but grab the money?

Is there really a better alternative to PAP 4G?

But I 100% agree with him for once.

The above is in his letter to PM’s lawyer. The bolded bit is spot on.

“Dear Sirs

Please found our client’s DBS cashiers order for the amount of $262,327.22 being full and final payment of the damages together with legal costs and disbursements awarded to your client.

Your client will be aware that every cent of this amount was donated to our client by the people of Singapore in an epic demonstration of their condemnation and anger at your clients use of the libel laws to silence and chill dissent.

It was conduct unbefitting of a Prime Minister.

The courageous citizens of Singapore were determined not to allow your client the satisfaction of suing critics until their pants drop.

Your client may have won in a court of law, but this cashiers order is proof that he has lost decisively in the court of public opinion.

Covid-19: Silence of Lim Tean, Meng Seng and TOC is deafening

In Public Administration on 30/07/2020 at 11:40 am

Hong Kong – which had early success against Covid-19 – is now regularly reporting over 100 new daily cases. Less than a month ago, the average number of new daily cases was under 10.

Now

Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam has warned that the city’s hospital system could face “collapse” as it grapples with a sharp rise in coronavirus cases.

She said the city was “on the verge of a large-scale community outbreak”, urging people to stay indoors.

BBC

And Lim Tean, Meng Seng Seng and other cybernuts, and TOC and anti-PAP alt media were shouting that the PAP govt should follow what HK was doing?

Hong Kong this week introduced its toughest lockdown restrictions in response to its worst outbreak. New regulations, including mandatory face masks and the closure of dine-in restaurants, and only two people from different households can meet, under the toughest rules Hong Kong has adopted so far.began on Wednesday.

It was earlier announced that spaces like bars, gyms and beauty parlours would be closed.

At the start of the month, public gatherings of up to 50 people were allowed – but that was reduced to four, and now two.

When the FT dorms were infected, Lim Tean, Meng Seng Seng and other cybernuts, and TOC and anti-PAP alt media were shouting that the PAP govt should follow what HK was doing.

Now that the FT dorms are almost clean and Covid-19 from the dorms didn’t leak out to the HDB heartlands, while HK is having a serious reinfection problem, why are Lim Tean, Meng Seng Seng and other cybernuts, and TOC and anti-PAP alt media not praising the PAP govt?

But at least , Lim Tean, Meng Seng Seng and other cybernuts, and TOC and anti-PAP alt media are not shouting that the PAP govt should follow what HK is doing.

The truth is that Vigilance is eternal when it comes to fighting Covid-19 and people like Lim Tean, Meng Seng and other anti-PAP paper warriors will always say “PAP is always wrong”. SAD.

Btw, PRCs from China are being blamed for the resurgence of the virus inHK.

Uncle Leong wants accountability from PAP govt but not from his fellow candidate, Lim Tean

In Uncategorized on 03/07/2020 at 6:36 am

What a hypocrite. SAD.

Leong Sze Hian, a member of Peoples Voice Political Party (PV) and its candidate for Jalan Besar GRC along with Lim Tean said he will champion greater accountability and transparency in Parliament if voted in.

TOC

Come on Uncle Leong. Why u stand with Lim Tean who has collected money for three various projects but not delivered on two of them? And the one projected that was delivered was a year late and rubbish.

September 2018 was the first anniversary of Lim Tean’s failure to deliver on his jobs rally and defamation video: he had claimed he had raised money to ensure the success of these projects. No pix, no sound: Lim Tean’s first anniversary of BSing

Also no pix, no sound on class action law suit against CPF despite side-kick claiming that

Don’t vote for Lim Tean and Uncle Leong. Btw, Lim Tean is also Leon’s lawyer in PM’s defamation suit against Leong.

Lim Tean & Quitter living on welfare overseas can’t stop talking cock

In Uncategorized on 27/05/2020 at 9:57 am

Actually its worse, they spread fake news in their attempts to discredit the actions of the PAP govt.

Lim Tean took a swipe at the govt for wasting $ on the NDP packs.

At a time when We are facing the greatest crisis in modern times, why are many millions of dollars being spent on a meaningless fun pack for NDP?

There are many thousands of small and micro-businesses which are hurting and facing financial wipe-out because of this pandemic. There are many self-employed who are struggling to put food on the table. There are many desperately poor who cannot even afford the basic necessities in life.

It is inappropriate and tactless that at a perilous time such as now, this government is still allowing resources to be wasted on such frivolity!

These resources can be much better spent on helping small and micro-businesses, the self-employed and the poor!

Peoples Voice lends its whole-hearted support to the online campaign which has been started, and which has already gathered many supporters who have said they do not wish to receive the fun-pack. We salute these brave Singaporeans who are taking a principled stand.

This is another bad judgment call by an incompetent government made up of weak men and women!

Lim Tean
Peoples Voice Party

He doesn’t tell us that the govt does not spend any money on it, the stuff is sponsored by businesses.

The quitter living on welfare in Finland made the same point as Lim Tean a week ago. When it was pointed out the items were sponsored, he threw smoke by saying that govt spent $ packing it.

Bah, why didn’t he allege this in the first place instead instead of spreading fake news on social media about the govt wasting tax payers money, his original allegation?

With enemies like this, the PAP is fortunate that it doesn’t need ass licking clowns like Yap Kwong Weng (Principal Advisor & Joint Lab Director at KPMG) on its side.

And our economy. He so hate us for keeping the PAP govt in power, that he wants to destroy S’pore?

Lim Tean is KPKBing that schools should be closed to fight the Wuhan virus.

Well according to the link below, the data on whether such closures will curb covid-19 are limited, and the direct economic costs are huge, even disregarding the long-term damage to children’s education.

But then Lim Tean is not married and is reported not to have any kids. Impotent, it’s alleged.

To summarise just one aspect of the detailed analysis in the link below

A study in 2009 estimated that if schools close for a month, between 6% and 9% of vital health-care workers would have to stay at home to look after their offspring.

Economist

The Economist’s detailed analysis is at https://www.economist.com/international/2020/03/19/how-covid-19-is-interrupting-childrens-education

In summary, closing schools is a sign that all other less bad options don’t or can’t work.

The king of masks

In Kiasu? Get hold of the king mask, I reported

that the betterest mask is the N95 respirator. It filters at least 95% of airborne particles, and is more effective than an ordinary surgical or medical mask, which also needs to be changed more frequently.

The pictured mask is the best.

Maybe Lim Tean should do a video castigating the PAP govt for not getting the pictured mask for us?

Lim Tean talks cocks on electricity price rise

In Energy, Infrastructure on 10/01/2020 at 11:17 am

The chief cock of the People’s Voice Party, Mr Lim Tean via his FB post, criticised the recent increase in electricity tariffs by 3.5% despite natural gas prices collapsing. Mr Lim concluded his post by saying that “Singaporeans have every right to demand explanations from the SP group, Temasek, EMA and Mr ‘New Taxes’ Heng!”

He obviously doesn’t have a clue about anything, given that as far back as 2012, I explained the situation. Below is a piece that I’ve had to update because when it was first written, the LNG gas terminal had yet to open.

Unlike the oil market*, the natural gas market, is not a global, nor an efficient one (outside of the US). (I’ll explain this in detail later using S’pore and Qatar as examples). There is only a limited global trade in gas (the S’pore government is trying to encourage such trade building a gas terminal that is now operational), which can be transported in tankers, but mostly gas must move in pipelines over land in Europe and North America, the biggest users of energy. Example: natural gas prices have been rising in Britain this year even as they have been falling in the US.

Supply has soared in the US because of increased production from hydraulic fracturing, but demand in the US cannot change rapidly. Power plants that can burn gas or oil were shifted to gas long ago.

S’pore, as readers, should know gets its supply of gas from gas fields in Indonesia and Malaysia. The energy MNCs who developed these kind of fields did not develop these fields until they were assured that there were assured long-term buyers of the gas (This is still true today). There are a lot of upfront costs and the lead period from the time the fields are being developed to the first shipment of gas to the customer are measured in decades. Example: gas was discovered in Qatar in large quantities in the 1980s. It became a major exporter only in the early to mid-noughties. It took that long to build the facilities to ship the gas to places like Japan and South Korea, taking into account the time to negotiate the contracts.

Then there is the issue of pricing. Until very recently, natural gas contracts were priced off the price of oil because they were often found together, and both were scarce.

When the gas contracts for S’pore were negotiated all those many years, the price of the gas that S’pore pays was priced off the price of oil. Hence one reason of the paradox of us paying higher prices for gas when the price of gas is at a 10-year low. Another reason is that S’pore is locked into long-term contracts.

Now S’poreans are not the only people who got “screwed” by the breakdown between the price of gas and oil. KKR and TPG, giant and successful US private equity investors invested billions of their investors’ funds in TXU. One of the things they were betting on was that gas prices would be priced-off oil prices for the foreeable future. Err even Buffett has lost money buying TXU bonds.

But what about the gas terminal which now accounts for 38% of imported gas, shouldn’t this mean that its gas is cheaper?

Sadly

In Asia, purchased gas imports are typically pegged to oil price changes by pre-determined formulas due to the lack of an established pricing benchmark for gas trade. This nexus between oil and gas prices could weaken though, as more gas is being traded with greater flexibility in the future.

Constructive, nation-building media

And Lim Tean wants to be PM? But then as I wrote

But it was BS.).

Lim Tean: talk cock king / Does he have dementia?

Lim Tean talked cock about that the nation anthem.

He told us everything about it was going to be changed. He said this because he read that on Sunday (1 Dec), Minister for Culture, Community and Youth Grace Fu announced that the National Anthem Majulah Singapura will be updated as part of celebrations to mark the 60th anniversary of Singapore’s national symbols.

No other details were disclosed except that the new version will be a rendition by the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. It will be broadcast across all Mediacorp, Singapore Press Holdings and Safra radio stations at 11.20am tomorrow (3 Dec), 60 years after the national symbols were first unveiled.

Listen and let me know if Lim Tean was telling the truth. I used the version of the anthem on TOC’s website because it has an English translation.

Only minor tweaks.

What a liar Lim Tean is

Btw, I used TOC’s video because it includes an English translation of the lyrics. A TRE commenter has a good point about the lyrics that many S’poreans may not realise.

Majulah Singapura:
December 3, 2019 at 12:08 am (Quote)
The “Majulah Singapura” is symbolic of the country’s history and independence. The lyrics express the new spirit and aspiration of a people in their newly found independence. It is a call to progress, happiness, success and unity which are as relevant today as it was 55 years ago. To replace the country’s national anthem is to erase a significant piece in the history of our independence. The lyrics in Malay may not be understood and appreciated by non-Malay speakers, but they are simple and beautiful. This part of the Malay heritage in the nation’s multi-cultural history will be lost.

Haze: Clearing land without burning is very expensive

In Environment, Indonesia on 23/09/2019 at 11:26 am

Yesterday, the haze got worse. It was also the day I read an article in the Economist. Sharing what it wrote.

It just makes financial sense to clear land by burning it (Me rather than Economist):

Preparing land for plantations without using fire costs around [US]$300-400 a hectare, says Herry Purnomo of the Centre for International Forestry Research, which is based in Indonesia, whereas burning costs [US]$30.

https://www.economist.com/asia/2019/09/19/burning-forests-are-blackening-the-skies-of-south-east-asia

Btw, got to add to US$30, the cost of bribes:

In theory, using fire to do this is illegal, but the local officials who should stop it are easily bought off.

Clearing land by other means is juz dumb human thinking at work, Mr Spock would say (My tot: not Economist’s).

And that’s not all. Indonesian govt helps make cost of burning lower. The Indonesia govt doesn’t bother to collect fines it imposes on burners:

as of February, some [US]$220m in fines owed by plantation companies involved in past fires remained unpaid.

Because so cheap, so no wonder

In one district, according to Doni Monardo of the National Disaster Mitigation Agency, 80% of the fires appear to be intended to convert forest into palm-oil plantations.

Loos like nothing changed from 2015: Indon false pride and BS.

And btw, lol, Haze: PAP govt cares, they really do. So vote wisely especially if you are thinking of voting for Lim Tean’s gang.

He wants us to go to war with Indonesia. He wants us to deal directly with the Riau authorities. Indonesian govt would rightly see this as an infringement of its sovereignty. But then Lim Tean like this:n Whatever happened to Lim Tean’s defamation video? And his jobs rally? To be fair, sometime in early 2019, he delivered his video. It was BS and more than two yrs late.

Uncle Leong’s journey to Calvary

In Uncategorized on 22/04/2019 at 11:03 am

Last Thursday, I had lunch with some friends near Arab Street. Looking out of the window, I tot I saw Uncle Leong walking on the street below. My friends said it was him.

He looked depressed and walked as though he was carrying a heavy burden: a cross perhaps? Last Thursday was after all Maundy Thursday, or Holy Thursday, the day before Good Friday.

I tot of him carrying a cross on his shoulders on the way to his crucifixion when I read this yesterday (Feel free to skip to my further tots after the bit about Leong: writer’s a windbag who also suffers from verbal diarrhea):

This is what Singaporeans do not realise

I was sued by the Singapore prime minister, fired from my job for political reasons and later the police ransacked my home for supporting the opposition.

I was made out to be a bad person.

Then in 2017, academic Donald Low was threatened with his job.

Then last year, the prime minister sued Leong Sze Hian.

Then, the police also ransacked Terry Xu’s home.

Are all these bad people too?

After I’ve been sued, sacked, charged, had my home ransacked and persecuted from 2014 to 2016, I have since then seen more and more Singaporeans go through what I did.

With each of them, I understand their pain and the injustice they had to go through.

Because it was what I had to go through too. From once being valued at work and school, I became disavowed.

But then, the people I mentioned above aren’t as bad as the person I am. They are people who continue to be respected in what they do. Yet they have had their lives hurt and slammed by the PAP.

They won’t be the last. I’ve seen people been hurt by the PAP every year since I was persecuted, and I know it will keep going on.

Then it reminded me, before I was persecuted, I had thought about the “troublemakers” before me. Why are they so stupid to get into trouble? Why can’t they do things in other ways?

Why did they have to get themselves sued by the prime minister? Why did they have to get themselves jailed? Opposition politicians like JBJ and Chee Soon Juan, lawyers like Soh Lung Teo, church workers like Vincent Cheng why must they find trouble with the government?

But then one day, after I was sued, someone asked the same question to me, someone very close.

Why must you go and find trouble with the government, she asked me.

And then I became the “troublemaker”.

It was funny listening to the “troublemaker” label used on me. I remembered that when I attended talks after I was sued, people saw me and thought I was going to start throwing chairs. The look in their eyes, it was funny.

But of course, I asked serious questions. You can ask Tharman at one of the CPF talks I attended. He answered back quite stably too. Well, he wasn’t threatened, was he?

But after going through all these, knowing how the government can come after you and make you a such a bad person, even beyond what you’ve ever known of yourself, and to even make me question myself, this made me finally understand what these other “troublemakers” were going through, and who they are.

When I first met Vincent Cheng, he was such a soft-spoken and sincere person, when I first met Soh Lung, such a passionate and helpful person! Chee Soon Juan also came across very smart and measured.

After going through what I have, I began to understand the lives of others who had gone through what I have before me.

And I also understand the pain of others who have gone after me. And I still see people being hurt by the PAP year after year. People who have to leave the country, people who have to try to fight to clear their name, people who had live their lives honestly.

You don’t really get it until you become one of the people where overnight, you are given a new label, where you become a criminal simply for standing up for what you believe in.

Does it make me angry? Maybe. Does it make me sad? Maybe. But much of this is all in the past now.

But it does make me wonder when Singaporeans will ever realise their power. It does make me angry that Singaporeans do not want to think about this.

If I do not think about society, nothing will happen to me. Exactly what they wanted.

To keep you quiet. If you keep quiet, I don’t have to change policies to make lives better.

Do you remember the story of the bundle of sticks? When the father in Aesop’s Fables got his sons to break the sticks individually, the sticks broke easily, but when he got his sons to break the sticks when bundled together, they could not.

What Singaporeans do not realise that together you are the bundle of stick, and you will always be.

The PAP takes a stick out now and then from this bundle, break it, and the rest of you sticks shudder.

But what you do not realise is that when you shudder, you are shuddering with the other sticks next to you. You are in that bundle of sticks, and that makes you strong.

They cannot break all of you, so they break one stick now and then. And if you stop letting them break you one by one, you can stop them.

This is what Singaporeans do not realise. You are powerful and you are strong.

I wish you would remember that.

Roy Ngerng

In addition to the burden of a defamation suit, Uncle Leong is also carrying the burden of the BS of Lim Tean, his lawyer. The legal basis of what Lim Tean is accusing PM of doing (that the libel suit is an abuse of court process) has been frowned upon in English courts. Yet Lim Tean thinks our court of appeal will agree with his line of reasoning.

Christ rose on Easter Sunday and is now sitting on a throne on the right side of god the father in heaven. Somehow I doubt Uncle Leong will escape as lightly as Christ did, even if he has a son of Ah Kong rooting for him: only the younger son leh. But then miracles do happen and if anyone deserves a miracle, it’s Uncle Leong for juz sharing an article (Albeit one that he should have known was fake and defamatory). Btw, why is Ah Kong’s daughter not publicly rooting for Uncle Leong?

Lim Tean see Meng Seng no ak

In Uncategorized on 04/02/2019 at 6:22 am

Goh Meng Seng very angry. (Btw, trumpet pls for me: My predictions about Spastics’ League)

On Saturday, TOC reported:

Lim Tean, lawyer and leader of opposition party, People’s Voice Party visited the Teck Whye Market this morning (Saturday) and said that the party intends to field a team at the Choa Chu Kang GRC.

The Choa Chu Kang Group-Representative Constituency is currently held by the People’s Action Party and helmed by the Minister of Health Gan Kim Yong. The former party which contested against Gan’s team in the General Election 2015 was People’s Power Party led by Goh Meng Seng and prior to that, National Solidarity Party led by Sebastian Teo in GE2011.

Under Oppo chop system, Goh Meng Seng “owns” area even if voters give him the finger, which they did in last GE.

Thought of the Day – Campaign

We always hear how out of touch PAP Elites are from the reality on the ground. But does it mean that all opposition politicians are not out of touch?

We always see PAP and Opposition politicians start to “walk the ground” when elections is looming. But how does that help for politicians from both sides in understanding the ground Issues other than providing the “hardworking” image or even “place chopeing” intentions?

I always tell reporters this when they ask when am I going to start “campaigning” :

My campaigning has NEVER stopped since I was in NUS!

Some people chose to be “suddenly vocal” when they started to have interests in contesting in their FIRST elections. Where were they before that?

They will start to “walk the ground” to gain “visibility”. Some are even worse. They have never voice out anything substantial, whether in or out of parliament in between general elections but would suddenly make a lot of noise just months before next elections!

And this applies to BOTH PAP and Opposition politicians.

I like consistency because it gives me a better gauge of characters and inner intentions.

Some would think that “quietly walking the ground and knocking doors”, even kiss babies are enough to win votes. I do not believe in that. We are not just voting for door to door salesman or saleswomen. We are not voting for estate managers. But we are looking for people who have ideas and ideals which they could debate in parliament.

PAP has lots of resources and no matter what goodwill you could gain by knocking doors could easily be negated by all goodies they can throw at voters just before GE.

The only way to build a strong base of unwavering support is to change their minds and hearts permanently through a consistent evangelism of ideas and ideals.

I respect people like JBJ, Dr Chee, Tan Kin Lian and others who had never stopped talking about their ideas and ideals even they lost. Never mind if I agree with them 100%

Juz wondering why he only respects born losers like himself?

And why despite all his life long campaigning, in the last three GEs each time representing a different party in a different GRC, his share of the popular vote in percentage terms kept declining.

In Uncategorized on 30/12/2018 at 6:51 am
Sorry to sound like Gringe, but I can’t find the defamation video. Not released yet isit? Tot u said it would be Christmas present. U meant Christmas present for 2019 isit?
(Adrian Tan posting on Lim Tean’s FB. Lim Tean was KPKBing about PM suing his client.)
Addition at 6.55 am: Maybe Lim Tean thinks he’s like the Magi. They gave their presents to the Christ child on Epiphany, which falls on 6 January 2019.

Lim Tean that cock lawyer meh?/ Video to be released soon

In Uncategorized on 21/12/2018 at 10:44 am

That cock lawyer meh?

Not me, but the judge that dismissed his defence that he did not owe money and that the amount claimed was not a loan but down payment for iron ore that plaintiff was buying from Lim Tean the miner.

There were also no supporting documents provided by Mr Lim to show that both parties had reached an agreement regarding the sale and purchase of iron ore. DJ Tan noted that Mr Lim in an email had also acknowledged the loan.

“The language of the email clearly amounts to an unequivocal admission of the loan, and as put by the learned deputy registrar ‘flatly contradicts (Mr Lim’s) case’,” she said.

District Judge Tan added that if the money transferred to Mr Lim was indeed a downpayment, “in my mind, it simply belies belief that (Mr Lim), being a qualified lawyer”, would send an email that not only “characterises the earlier payment as a loan, but also promises payment within a specified time and expressing regret for delaying payment”.

Update on video

A few hrs after the publication of Finally Lim Tean called to account on a “broken promise”, he finally broke over one year’s silence on the video by saying on Facebook that his defamation video (remember it was promised for Sept, then Nov last yr) was ready. He would release it next week.

We shall see. Better late than never.

Finally Lim Tean called to account on a “broken promise”

In Uncategorized on 19/12/2018 at 6:49 am

September 2018 was the first anniversary of Lim Tean’s failure to deliver on his jobs rally and defamation video: he had claimed he had raised money to ensure the success of these projects. No pix, no sound: Lim Tean’s first anniversary of BSing

Also no pix, no sound on class action law suit against CPF despite side-kick claiming that

Once the required resources, not just financially, are in place and before the suit is launched, there will be more updates. Action speaks louder than words.

Phillip Ang

CPF class action: Phillip Ang’s “reply’ to fellow cybernut?

Since then, no picture, no sound like Lim Tean’s other two crowdfunding projects.

So good that a judge has called time on what she says is a broken promise by Lim Tean

In her summary judgment, she said: “On my examination of the documents… it was clear to me that they were inadequate to support the defendant’s assertion that the sum of US$150,000 was a down payment for the sale of iron ore to the plaintiff’s company.”

The judge also said Mr Lim’s e-mail was an “unequivocal admission” of the loan.

ST

More details about email:

“On or around Feb 21, 2017, the defendant e-mailed the plaintiff to say, among other things, that he was ‘making arrangements to start paying (the plaintiff) back within the next two months’.

“The defendant also stated that he regretted the ‘long delay’, was ‘very sorry for the inconvenience caused’, and assured the plaintiff that the loan would be repaid.”

Lim Tean is appealing the judge’s ruling. Will he say, “I always break promises so I shouldn’t have to repay”? Btw, his pa was an early head of PA must be spinning in his grave. Btw2, last yr this time he was paying $15,000 in rent a month for a black-and-white bungalow. Don’t know if he has moved on.

Singaporeans want an opposition but are “very discerning in the type of opposition they seek. In my view, it is not wise to pursue any approach that does not establish firmer foundations for a permanent and institutionalised opposition in Singapore.

Pritam Singh, Wankers’ Party Sec Gen

(For the context of his comments read: https://www.todayonline.com/singapore/wp-chief-pritam-singh-responds-activist-select-committees-treatment-historian-thum)

Can’t argue with him on this point. Think Mad Dog, Lim Tean, Meng Seng where are yr durians?

September 2017 was the deadline for Lim Tean’s jobs rally and defamation video. Remember he claimed then he raised the $ for these.

He claims to have successfully raised money from the public for three projects. But then no picture, no sound: No, Lim Tean hasn’t absconded.

Neither can I argue with Bayee’s point that defending PJ Thum against PAP “bullying” was not a good option (my choice of words not his). He said

this episode may not be the best one to use as a barometer for the WP’s stance against bullying.

Let’s face it, even rational fan boys of PJ admit that he misrepresented his credentials. They argue that Oxford doesn’t seem to be bothered, why should the PAP and us? Which beg the questions, “What else has he misrepresented? And we don’t know about?”

My take on PJ: he gilded the lily, got caught and the PAP squeezed his balls really hard:  What Oxford really says about PJ Thum and Project Southeast Asia

Mad Dog, Lim Tean, Meng Seng where are yr durians?

But first when TRE republished One reason Tun wants to cause trouble with us on HSR the TRE cybernuts were howling with rage. Examples from one “rukidding”

Only “sick” and “Crooked” people will perceive what Tun does was a “deliberate causing of trouble” !

These group of “sick & crooked” people only “thinks” about themselves and the “gain” that they stand to lose !

Shame on Pappy and Cynical !

On the contrary,…I would see what Tun is “doing” is “cleaning up the system” and “getting rid of crooks” !

Somebody should “count himself lucky” as TUN has not embarked into “investigating” the Tanjong Pakar station and the rail corridor “deal”……it is quite “pausible” tht that deal isn’t very “cleanly” done too !

And

Cut the Food supplies and cut the water…..and Sinkapore will “sink” !

If Tun is wanting to “cause trouble”….he would have done these acts long time ago !

CI,….don’t be too “cocky” !

The fact is Sinkapore is “dangerously dependent” on our Frens next door for Food Security !!!

From 1m to 2m, population ( last time)……we could still depend on our own Food supplies….but all of our own Chickens and Pigs are Gone….all of our Vege farms are gone ?

And our Population has gone to 7m ????

You really think that Pigs from Batam and Imports from Sea and air could “sustain” Sinkapore ????

You must be kidding to fly in Bottles of Mineral waters too ?

Hydeflux “hyped” is gone and “going to die”…water from desalination just cause water price hike ….so how ????

Who “Wins”,…who “loses” ???

Do you think our highly and obscenly paid Ministers “feel any pinch” for price increases ??

Do you think that when Food shortage happens here,…who gets to “feed and eat” from our “limited” local produce first ???

You meh ?????

More likely Holy Jinx and Sons and Sissy husband will be the first to get it !

Lets be “REALISTIC” lah,….CI,….don’t talk rubbish to “bluff” the people !

One Bapak responded to the request to cut off food supplies

No need. Cut durian supply already good enough to stop all Durian Festival activityies by PAP CCs.

He forgot that WP also had durian festival. Or maybe, he thinks the Wankers are part of the PAP? Nuts liddat lor.

Which reminds me: how come Lim Tean (fund-raiser extraordinaire: No, Lim Tean hasn’t absconded) hasn’t crowd funded for a durian party? After all he has according to himself successfully raised money to sue for return of CPF (OK, OK sidekick implied money raised: CPF class action: Phillip Ang’s “reply’ to fellow cybernut?), for a jobs rally and a defamation video, and then gone on to do f*all.

Hat trick of free lunches enough isit? After all, he’s really very rich.

And Mad Dog, Meng Seng, Ben Pwee and other members of the Coalition of the Spastics where are the free durians? After all didn’t SDP say that everything will be free when it and its friends rule S’pore? So what about giving free durians as down-payment?

Durians are cheap now. Talk is even cheaper. Right Lim Tean, Mad Dog, Meng Seng, Ben Pwee and the other spastics?

Meng Seng maturing? Lim Tean going nuts

In Uncategorized on 07/08/2018 at 10:05 am

This blog has always been anti Goh Meng Seng but was initially hopeful of Lim Tean.

Silence of Goh Meng Seng: One of these days, I’ll blog on why if he had had his way on Bishan Park, S’pore wouldn’t have the Bishan otter family that we all love.

Lim Tean: Activist who talks sense

I repented after he raised funds from the public but never delivered on his promises: No, Lim Tean hasn’t absconded

—————————————————–

Well going by what Lim Tean is now saying, it looks like Lim Tean will be joining M Ravi in getting treated for mental health problems. (Fyi, M Ravi is working for Lim Tean, so maybe he infected Lim Tean? Bit him?)

I’m exaggerating?

“Our alliance must strive to form the next Government in the upcoming General Election (GE),” said former National Solidarity Party (NSP) chief Lim Tean, who is seeking to form a new party. Singapore’s next GE must be held by 2021.

Writing on Facebook, Mr Lim added: “The winds of change are here and they have buffeted the world for the past two years… Those who try to suggest that what happened in the West and now Malaysia cannot possibly happen in Singapore are myopic and in denial.”

Who other than cybernuts (think TRE funder and tax dodger Oxygen) thinks that PAP will lose power in next GE? There’s a good chance that Aljunied with repent. And the PAP has handicapped itself by saying GST sure to go up after GE.

Meanwhile,

PPP’s Mr Goh — who has had his fair share of electoral setbacks — said the effort to come together stemmed from the realisation among the smaller opposition parties that they can no longer go it alone.

“If we continue to do things (as we did) in the past, we will not get different results,” he said. “The fact is that our fortunes and destinies are linked… We cannot do without each other.”

He added: “If you don’t try, you won’t know”. “It cannot be worse than the status quo.”

https://www.todayonline.com/big-read/big-read-opposition-parties-banding-together-grand-plan-or-last-throw-dice

So matured, so unlike the Goh Meng Seng that I make fun of regularly.

What next, pigs can fly? He’ll attack the PAP more than he attacks WP?

What’s more for someone who was really unhappy in 2006 GE that Auntie and not him was leading the WP Aljunied GRC team, it’s surprising to hear him disagree

that egos would get in the way.

“If we are all egomaniacs, we won’t be sitting on the same table… All the leaders have their differences in their ideologies, policy-wise and how things should be done, but I do not think they are so egoistic as to say they can do it all by themselves,” he said.

“We understand that we cannot do it alone and we need to unite and depend on each other for our future success.”

Mr Goh, for one, said he has no qualms taking a backseat. “The back-end is as important as the front… I do not see anything bad about that,” he said.

Well let’s see what happens if he’s asked to f-off:

[S]ome may also need to stand down and serve from the backroom if it is for the good of the country.

I believe that the men and women I met yesterday, were more than willing to make way for better men and women who would stand in their place. They have guts. They have put themselves out there.

Dr Tan Cheng Bock

Talk is cheap. And Meng Seng has a history of talking cock.

Maybe to “Save S’pore Fund” but No to Lim Tean getting involved

In Uncategorized on 04/08/2018 at 9:53 am

Interesting idea from a TRE reader that has a fatal flaw: he wants Lim Tean to be involved.

Drs Tan and Paul should not demean themselves and tarnish their reputations by associating with talk cock, sing-song artiste, Lim Tean. He’s a serial fund-raiser who then refuses to do anything with the money he has successful claimed he raised for

— defamation video* (claims he raised the $3000+)

— jobs rally* (claims he raised $20,000 for this)

— sue CPF fund

More details: No, Lim Tean hasn’t absconded.

Whatever here’s the ‘Save Singapore Fund

Start a ‘Save Singapore Fund’!:

Singaporeans know that the Opposition Parties can never match the Whites in terms of financial backing.

Therefore it would be ideal to start a “Save Singapore Fund’ that Singaporeans can contribute towards. Opposition parties can then seek help from the fund if there are in dire need of funds for the next GE.

The ‘Save Singapore Fund’ can be managed by Dr Tan Cheng Bock (Singaporeans trust him enough) together with Lim Tean and Dr Tambayah.

We should not expect Dr Tan to lead at his own expen$e, Singaporeans will want to support him and the Opposition parties if there is a Coalition to fight the Whites at the next GE.

Forget about WP!

Sounds interesting but I’ll soon blog on why even with Lim Tean not being involved the fund won’t take off.

*

The defamation video is in the process of being finalised . We are adding animation so it is taking a bit longer than expected . But we should be able to release it in the 1st half of November . Apologies for the delay .

As for the jobs rally , that was postponed because of the anticipated Presidential Elections and the ensuing outcry following the walkover . We are planning to put on the rally in November and have an exciting lineup of speakers . We intend to have a jobs rally like never before and will be informing Singaporeans of details soon !

Why Lim Tean should sit down and shut up

Lim Tean is now KPKBing about the Singhealth cyber breach, as are other cybernuts.

They should stop adding to climate change.

S’poreans are pragmatic. They know

The painful truth is that hacking is the price society pays for online convenience. It can be minimised, but never eliminated. Like stock theft, it will be normalised as a cost of business, because that is what it is.

Concluding para of Lex column in FT on why a bigger than initially reported breach of data from a UK listco has not affected its share price

Short of finding out that a senior SingHealth officer installed the malware (“An honest mistake”) or SingHealth used made-in China servers, the public accepts

that hacking is the price society pays for online convenience

And it’s a bit rich of Lim Tean to KPKB. He claims to have successfully raised money from the public for three projects. But then no picture, no sound: No, Lim Tean hasn’t absconded.

Which reminds me, one of the projects he raised money for was a video explaining how to avoid getting sued for defamation: S’poreans need this video. While he’s been making videos of himself KPKBing, the defamationvideo hasn’t appeared. He promised it for September and then November 2017.

It’s now August 2018. And he’s saying that the PAP is not delivering on anything. Pot calling kettke black.

As of Friday evening, S’pore was still waiting for official confirmation that M’sia wants to cancel the HSR project, despite Tun saying that M’sia has cancelled the project. It’s been almost a week since he said that.

In  Where’s yr defamation video and jobs rally Lim Tean? yesterday, I reported that one Adrian Tan commented on Lim Tean’s FB

If u can do this video, why can’t u do a similar video on defamation. U promised the defamation video by September, then November 2017? It’s now Feb 2018. And pls remember that u raised funds from S’poreans for the video. Yes the Budget has no substance. But going by yr failure to release a video and organise a jobs rally by Nov 2017 as promised by u, u too got no substance.

Seems that Lim Tean’s administrator took down the comment.

There’s a rumour going round that his FB page was offline for a long time yesterday because in trying to delete said comment, the administrator took the page offline. What a cock-up.

Class action law suit: CPF class action: Phillip Ang’s “reply’ to fellow cybernut

Rumour has it that a few police reports have been filed complaining that he took money under false pretences. But as, Phillip Ang, his class action CPF law suit partner is still blogging regularly, maybe those who paid into the class action law suit bank account should contact Phillip Ang rather than file police reports against Lim Tean?

I’ve done my checks and can assure these people that while he’s either AWOL (sking in the Alps) or MIA (in hospital) depending on who is telling the story, their monies are safe. Lim Tean is a very rich man, unlike other Oppo or wannabe Oppo Red Indian chiefs.

My serious point is that if Lim Tean wants to be taken as serious Oppo figure, he shouldn’t be a serial fund raiser, who fails to live up to his BS rhetoric. Promising a video and jobs rally in November and not delivering, and then keeping quiet is a great way to build a reputation as a talk cock, sing song artiste.

Success has many mouths but failure has no tongue.

In Corporate governance, Temasek on 01/01/2018 at 12:43 pm

Chief TRE cybernut, Oxygen (He made a $10,000 donation to TRE in 2015 and still holds on to his S’pore citizenship thus being unable to take out his CPF monies, showing how much he privately trusts the PAP, despite criticising the PAP publicly), has called for Keppel shareholders to sue, ranting

The $55 million given to corrupt Brazilian officials are money/property belonging to the shareholders of Keppel Corp. The injured party and proper plaintiff is Keppel Corp whose current Board is legally obligated under corporate law to take action to recover the lost property.

If the current Board of Directors failed to take action to recover this loss property rightfully belonging to its shareholders , the shareholders of Keppel Corp – which Temasek Holdings is said to own 20% equity stake – has same unfettered right of action on behalf of itself and all other shareholders via the derivative action of exceptions to the Foss v Harbottle case law application.

The concept of the exception to the corporate case law application of the Foss vs Harbottle rule is illuminated in this wikipedia link.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foss_v_Harbottle

It remains to seen if Temasek Holdings will sue the Board of Directors of Keppel Corp if the latter does nothing and pretend nothing happens.

Will Lim Tean and his sidekick, Phillip Ang, open another POSB account and ask retail Keppel shareholders to put $ in so that these fund raisers can buy Ferraris that funds can be raised to sue Keppel?

Some nut posted “stupid TRE moderator who keeps publishing his articles despite many readers’ complaint. Although the mod keeps denying it, they must have agreed on something between them.”

I was reproducing comments by a regular TRE reader who although not insane or bi-polar or autistic is no fan of the PAP. So why not direct their unhappiness about piece at him, not TeamTRE or me?

Seriously does Oxygen and his nutty pals ever wonder if TRE is secretly funded by the PAP? Hence despite the protestations of not having money (its given up asking for help from its readers), TRE still keeps on going?

Here’s my dare to the cybernuts. Raise $10k to fund TRE and I’ll forbid TRE from using my pieces forever and a day. Come on Oxygen, if u are such a great investor putting another 10k into TRE should not be a problem. Right?

As for the jobs rally , that was postponed because of the anticipated Presidential Elections and the ensuing outcry following the walkover . Lim Tean to me in late October Update on Lim Tean’s video and rally

Has anyone seen the video or attended the job rally?

I may have missed the video and the rally, though I doubt it.

I think he hasn’t walked the talk, though I’m happy to stand corrected.

Now I’m not too fussed about the delay in the rally because it’s the rainy season, and anyway the economy is picking up nicely thanks to the PAP global economy picking up.

But the video is something that S’poreans need.

Will Lim Tean make the release of his video his Chrismas present? Maybe he was too busy celebrating his birthday in November?

Or failing that he should make the video his ang pow for Chinese New Year in mid February? This would also good time weather-wise for the rally, though by then there may no longer unhappy, unemployed true blue S’porean PMETs.

Whatever, I hope Lim Tean doesn’t turn out to be another talk cock, sing song artiste like another other No Substance Party former secretary-general. Think Goh Meng Seng, a real talk cock, sing song artiste. By encouraging Tan Kin Lian to stand as president, he was instrumental in helping the PAP deprive S’poreans of president Tan Cheng Bock. No wonder he’s smiling.

Remember that anytime now (we should be able to release it in the 1st half of November) Lim Tean’s defamation video will be out:

Many are excited about the Defamation 101 video which I am making and have supported generously . I would like to inform all that we are in the process of finalising the video . The process has taken a bit longer than expected because of novel features we are adding to the video in order that both young and old can understand the material easily !

This video will enable Singaporeans to know what can and cannot be said so as not to fall foul of the defamation laws . It will lead to a more Open Society which is urgently needed so that we can be a more Creative society . People cannot be Creative when their thoughts and speech are shackled by fear . The PAP wants fear to permeate society – this is their tool to hold on to power . For our children and our country’s future , we must cast off this yoke of fear !

Lim Tean on FB last month

This blog supports the idea behind the video agreeing that the video can “lead to a more Open Society which is urgently needed so that we can be a more Creative society . People cannot be Creative when their thoughts and speech are shackled by fear .”

Further to an earlier suggestion PR suggestion for launch of “defamation” video here’s another suggestion to make a greater impact for the video: Get Roy Ngerng to endorse the video.

He should say that if he had seen a video that guided him

to know what can and cannot be said so as not to fall foul of the defamation laws

he could have avoided being taken to the cleaners by PM and yet still speak the “truth” about the CPF system.

Yes, this blog has ridiculed the “truths” that Roy propogated pointing most of the facts he talked about had been written before by people like Uncle Leong, Chris K and, dare I say it, this blog. They were not discoveries made by Roy.

But this blog never made fun of the fact that he could attract crowds and $: Roy Ngerng and the “swing voters”

He raised serious money for his defence while my sources allege that Lim Tean’s and Phillip’s appeal for money (CPF class action: Phillip Ang’s “reply’ to fellow cybernut) has raised “peanuts”. It’s even alleged that Phillip Ang had to cancel his order of a Ferrari, forfeiting his deposit.

PR suggestion for launch of “defamation” video

In Uncategorized on 02/11/2017 at 1:10 pm

The defamation video is in the process of being finalised . We are adding animation so it is taking a bit longer than expected . But we should be able to release it in the 1st half of November .

Lim Tean

Lim Tean says will help S’poreans avoid getting sued for defamation when they criticise you-know-who. My suggestion is that he or a member of Team Lim Tean should get in touch with Tan Tee Seng with a view of doing a premiere of the video which .

Tan Tee Seng, a “Marxist conspirator” (he confessed), is part of a team of social activists that organises screenings of interesting films  and the video should be something that will interest the team, and those who attend the screenings.

Who knows it might even get into this mid November festival:

CPF class action: Phillip Ang’s “reply’ to fellow cybernut

In CPF on 31/10/2017 at 2:30 pm

Here I wrote about a real cybernut demanding accountability and transparency from Lim Tean about the funds being raised “to launch a class-action suit against the government”.

To recap, Phillip Ang had posted

Lim Tean and I have set up a crowdfunding account @https://www.facebook.com/tean.lim.75. (POSB Savings 198-91842-3) Please keep a record of your transaction as your particulars will be required before the launch of the class-action suit. Unused portion will also be returned, pari passu.

https://likedatosocanmeh.wordpress.com/2017/10/15/class-action-suit-only-option-for-cpf-members-to-right-a-sorry-situation/

Well todate, neither Phillip Ang nor Lim Tean has responded to the cybernut, so I tot I’d draw the cybernut’s attention to what Phillip Ang had then said:

Once the required resources, not just financially, are in place and before the suit is launched, there will be more updates. Action speaks louder than words.

He’s saying “Trust us”. So PAPpish. So like the way the PAP administration manages the CPF and our reserves. But what to expect from a cybernut?

Seriously I’m surprised that someone like Lim Tean would go about raising serious money in such a slip-shod, non-transparent and unaccountable way: pay money into a private POSB account.

The proper way to go about the raising of millions of dollars needed to fund a class action law suit would be to use the services of a reputable fund raising site. This means there will be the need to have a detailed explanation on the the purpose of the funding raising, the target amount, the minimum sum needed and what happens to the monies collected if the minimum sum cannot be reached.

Now as Lim Tean is a seriously rich guy, meeting the out-of-pocket expenses of using a professional site should not be an issue, I’m left wondering why he liddat lor? Using a POSB account.

Still not to late to reorganise the fund raising, if he’s serious about bringing “a class-action suit against the government”.

Cybernut twice asks Lim Tean good question

In Uncategorized on 29/10/2017 at 5:06 pm

But no answer from Lim Tean.

On one of Lim Tean’s FB posts supporting Philip Ang’s call for a class action on CPF, on 27 October C Sing Ow  asked

So…can we know what was COLLECTED for THIS CLASS ACTION to date…

There was no response.

On 28 October C Sing Ow KPKB

For a small sum …everyone is ready n willing to contribute but They need ACCOUNTABILITY AND TRANSPARENCY in this CLASS ACTION on the funds collected.

Later on 28 October, he asked again

Collective ACCOUNT with details of collection n expenditures too. TQ

When I last checked there was still no response.

As Lim Tean is already supporting Philip Ang’s call for another class action, this time to sue SMRT for the delays and inconvenience caused by SMRT’s failures, this failure to respond to a reasonable question could show that Lim Tean’s moved on to another cause.

Not that I blame him: a CPF class action suit based on the “reasoning” of Philip Ang is a lot of bull.

But at the very least Lim Tean say to C Sing Ow, “Let u know, still counting”.

As to C Sing Ow’s cybernut credentials, whenever he posts on Chris K’s FB Wall he screams at the top of his voice. No small caps, all big caps. And worse he screams BS. He sounds a lot like TRE’s Oxygen: TRE grave dancer doesn’t deny grave dancing.

Coming back to Lim Tean, as a top gun-slinging lawyer he should know:

For want of a nail the shoe was lost,
for want of a shoe the horse was lost,
for want of a horse the knight was lost,
for want of a knight the battle was lost,
for want of a battle the kingdom was lost.
So a kingdom was lost—all for want of a nail.

He should mobilise the team of cyber-Amazons that have joined him to help him keep tabs of comments on his FB wall. Seems these women got tired of Goh Meng Seng’s BS. In casu u’ve forgotten who Goh Meng Seng is What Amos and Meng Seng have in common? Con’td.

Update on Lim Tean’s video and rally

In Uncategorized on 23/10/2017 at 11:33 am

Further to Whatever happened to Lim Tean’s defamation video? And his jobs rally? Lim Tean replied saying the video’s coming out in early November and the job rally some time in November.

Glad that he raised the funds because this shows shows that not all anti-PAP S’poreans are as cheapskate as the freeloaders and born losers from TRE.

Dear Cynical Investor ,

The defamation video is in the process of being finalised . We are adding animation so it is taking a bit longer than expected . But we should be able to release it in the 1st half of November . Apologies for the delay .

As for the jobs rally , that was postponed because of the anticipated Presidential Elections and the ensuing outcry following the walkover . We are planning to put on the rally in November and have an exciting lineup of speakers . We intend to have a jobs rally like never before and will be informing Singaporeans of details soon !

I’ll report on whether he meets the deadlines.

Whatever happened to Lim Tean’s defamation video? And his jobs rally?

In Uncategorized on 23/10/2017 at 5:01 am

(Update on 7 January 2019 at 6.35am: Last day for giving Christmas presents was yesterday, the day that the Wise Men gave the Christ child their presents. Lim Tean never bothered to show up with his present.)

(Update on 19 December 2018 at 5.45pm: Better more than 14 months late than never. Defamation video released earlier this afternoon at around 2pm on Lim Tean’s FB page. Good for himVideo promised for Christmas.)

So Lim Tean and cybernut Philip Ang are raising money to sue someone about our CPF:

Lim Tean and I have set up a crowdfunding account @ https://www.facebook.com/tean.lim.75. (POSB Savings 198-91842-3) Please keep a record of your transaction as your particulars will be required before the launch of the class-action suit. Unused portion will also be returned, pari passu.

https://likedatosocanmeh.wordpress.com/2017/10/15/class-action-suit-only-option-for-cpf-members-to-right-a-sorry-situation/

While this blog had been impressed by Lim Tean, this blog must point out that S’poreans are still waiting for his jobs rally Update: “Fair Jobs for Singaporeans” rally/. Has he raised the full $20,000 he asked for? No $20,000, no rally isit?

And then there’s the defamation video which should be out by now but again “not picture, no sound”. Also cannot raise the money isit?

************Make “Defamation 101” video happen! ****************
We are crowdfunding for Lim Tean’s new video project, a thorough exploration through Singapore’s strict defamation laws. He will guide us through what we can and cannot say so that we may have a stronger and more confident voice when speaking our truth.
Donate via PayPal (paypal.me/ProjectFreedomSG or use email teanlim1964@gmail.com).
Contact Lim Tean or Project Freedom for more info.

Will his Sue CPF campaign go the way of these two earlier projects? No picture, no sound. Anti-PAP S’poreans not responding to funding calls isit? And so Lim Tean not doing anything, but keeping quiet? No money no more talk isit?  Typical lawyer at work isit?

If he cannot raise the monies he wants to for the video and the rally, he should say so. No shame on him that he’s again double confirmed that the anti-PAP S’poreans are a bunch of freeloaders, cheapskates and born losers. everything must be done for them for free.

And it’s no shame on him that he can easily fund these two projects but won’t. These projects are meant to galvanise the masses, but if the masses are not interested in doing anything, why throw money away?

Btw whatever happened to the monies already raised? Will they be refunded if the rally or video don’t materialise.

Update: “Fair Jobs for Singaporeans” rally

In Uncategorized on 02/10/2017 at 1:09 pm

Lim Tean says on his blog that he and others still plan to hold a rally calling for Fair Jobs for Singaporeans.

As reported in Do Singkies want Fair Jobs for S’poreans? , it had been planned for the second week of September. But in September, he and Gilbert Goh organised a silent protest to KPKB about the presidential selection Good crowd at #notmypresident protest.

In answer to a query on whether the above rally will ever happen, Lim Tean said “Yes”. So it looks like there are S’poreans out there willing to walk the talk by donating and in the process show the displeasure of the neglect of the government in providing Fair Jobs for Singaporeans.

Obvious Ng Cock Lim, nuttiest of the TRE cybernuts is banging his balls

Rabble-rouser:

QUOTE:
“Money talks, BS walks.
If the crowdfunding response is lousy, time for him to move on: out of politics..”
PAP’s implementation of GST was supposed to gather a pool of money to help the poor. What happened to it & became of it? Was it their intention in the 1st place? or rather a revenue raising move?
Collecting all that GST for what purpose? Was it paying their million dollar salaries?
Collect for the poor or for the rich. NKF already a lesson on the golden tap issue – collecting $1.00 but spending less than 10 to 20 cents on the dialysis patients. The money raised was used for something else!
It’s all to benefit the elites & a pool of money for PAP system just like CPF! These money could be thrown to the SWFs to invest & lose in overseas markets.
Short of saying that S’pore is a lost cause! Even if the Public helps out the poor but the poor still votes for PAP – What then? It’s time for people to step out & be counted!
And CI’s affiliation is thoroughly suspect – he’s trying to get our financial details out into the open by making you guys donate – TO EXPOSE YOU.
Ask yourself how did the AG get details of Lee ShengWu ‘private’ facebook posts. Do you think there’s data privacy in S’pore? Or how did CPIB knew of SDF chief, their own CPIB head & even ex-Principal of River Valley School indulging in outside ‘makan’? There is ongoing surveillance in S’pore once a person had becomes a ‘person of interest’.

PATRIOT of TEMESAK: Actual Date & Time please…will be there personally to donate poor as I am towards a Justifiable Cause

@ Patriot:
Don’t go down personally! It’s a scheme to draw all the dissidents out into the open & note their particulars by the ISD officers. Keep your money & watch on the sidelines.
Even Lim Thean himself is suspect – why would an elite [practising lawyer] be on the opposition side & with political impunity? Remember Harbans Singh [another practising lawyer] – the wayang opposition leader who ran against JB Jeyaretnam in Tanjong Pagar elections to spoil/split votes.
Even the last PE; one or two of the Tans [Tan Jee Say, Tan Kin Lian] were planted to block Dr Tan Cheng Bock’s elected Presidency bid.
The PAP is slowly imploding within itself – the infighting already started among the fractions. But before that, they’ll (the top) make want to make examples of people who would go against the status quo.

Whatever, with enemies like him, no wonder PM can afford to upset voters.

Do Singkies want Fair Jobs for S’poreans?

In Uncategorized on 28/08/2017 at 4:48 am

I’ve posted about Lim Tean before: freelance political activist that talks sense. But then he was a senior partner in a law firm that gave us the present CJ, some High Court judges and some ex-AGs.

He’s now testing the ground in a good way and in a great cause.

He is asking 16 800 Singaporeans to contribute $1 each to fund a rally at Hong Lim Green calling for

Fair Jobs for Singaporeans!

and in the process show the displeasure of the neglect of the government in the area of Fair Jobs for Singaporeans.

Anti-PAP S’poreans are asked put their money where their mouths are. Not juz talk cock sing song.

**************Fair Jobs for Singaporeans!*****************

I shall be organising an event at Speakers’ Corner in the 2nd week of September under the aegis of my Movement – Project Freedom , with the theme of ” Fair Jobs for Singaporeans ! ” .

We will not be discussing diabetes , pre-school or smart nation at the event but on the critical topic of what our Government should be doing to protect the rights of Singaporeans to find good jobs in their homeland !

Singaporeans are finding it increasingly difficult to get jobs whether you are a fresh graduate or a PMET who has been displaced by a foreign worker . The landscape for jobs in Singapore gets bleaker by the day . Our government has done little to prepare our workers for the revolution that is about to engulf the world as a result of automation .

I am crowdfunding for $ 20 000 to organise the event . A breakdown of the estimated itemised cost is as follows :-

1.Stage and tentage
2.Sound system
3.Barricades
4. Security personnel

Please support generously by donating to the following account ;

POSB Savings Account No : 404-14132-5

I call on 16 800 Singaporeans ( so far $ 3200 has been raised ) to please help give $ 1 each ( and in the process show the displeasure of the neglect of the government in this area ) and to share this meaningful event with your friends .

I look forward to seeing you at Hong Lim Park !

Good way to test whether there are S’poreans out there willing to walk the talk by donating and in the process show the displeasure of the neglect of the government in Fair Jobs for Singaporeans.

Money talks, BS walks.

If the crowdfunding response is lousy, time for him to move on: out of politics. S’poreans are not interested in Fair Jobs for Singaporeans nor in showing their displeasure of the neglect of the government in not providing Fair Jobs for Singaporeans.

Glad he knows that it’s a waste of time if the only supporters he can attract are the cheapskate cybernut fans of TRE and TOC who suck TeamTRE and Terry dry with their demands of free anti-PAP opiates.

Btw, I’ll write a cheque for a token donation and deposit it into the account tomorrow.

Lim Tean: Activist who talks sense

In Uncategorized on 22/07/2017 at 2:52 pm

Don’t hold it against him that he was for a while Sec-Gen of the No Substance Party, and stood for GE for the NSP.

He’s now a free lance activist who wants S’pore to be a more open society where the state is more accountable to the people.

He’s no talk cock, sing song artiste like Goh Meng Seng or Mad Dog Chee. He’s more like the SDP’s Dr Paul: an achiever. He was one of the senior partners in Rajah & Tann, a law firm where the the CJ and several judges and AGs came from.

He until recently was based overseas.
